I'm the painist in a Choir and I I know the Chords for the song in the key of C Major. And my Teacher has told me to do the song in the key of G Major...Its just not messhing very well though...can anyone help?

The basic chords used in G major are G (G7), C, and D (D7). The song, "Lean on Me" is one of those songs having a simple melody and chord structure. G, C, and D will work well.

To change C chords to G chords, move everything up 5 notes and add an Fsharp

if you know the chords for the song in Cmaj, it's easy to put it in G. Just transpose each chord up five steps and you'll have it in Gmaj.
