i'd on no account purchase a leash for a toddler. the only achieveable reasoning i will think of of for having one would be to be utilized in a very crowded (and doubtlessly risky) place. probable on trip or at an entertainment park with many strangers around? No offense to those that could purchase one, yet i detect it hilarious as quickly as I see a youthful couple (regularly a pair that for sure did no longer desire a toddler interior the 1st place) with an undisciplined toddler tugging them alongside. I believe you that it defeats a important purpose of parenting: coaching potential of strategies on your toddler. in case you have you youngster on a leash each and all the time, what happens while the leash is taken away? Do they run wild? What are the possibilities they're going to stay close to you and behave completely? i do no longer think of that is totally probable they're going to obey their parent properly. EDIT: to no longer point out that a leash would reason a unfavorable dating interior the destiny between the youngster and their mum and dad! If rigidity is used as a disciplinary degree at a youthful age, what is going to mum and dad could hotel to in the process the youngster's teenage and youthful grownup life?

When I was little, my parents ALWAYS come to my room to give me a hug and say goodnight. I still remember that, it really made me feel loved.
Another way is parents protect their kid. Sometimes I feel like they think I'm still little, but deep down I really know they just care about me.
Another is teaching their kid life lessons...might sound cheesy written, but it's so true. If parents always give their kid what she wants, in the end, what good will that do? It's good to have a kid work for what they have, to some extent.

Hope that all made sense!

Praise them for the good things they do. punish them for the bad things they do. And always hug them and tell them you love them after each of them. This teaches your children respect & love.

1. Tell the kids that God loves them every day.

2. Tell the kids that they (the parents) love them every day.

3. A special tradition...like I sing Mommy Cottontail (don't ask!) to my kids every night, even if I am out of town for work. Good days, bad days, "in trouble" days, they get this from me every day. They LOVE it!
