i love how the US is so "close the borders, kick out the illegals" right now... for starters, to truly do that we'd have to give the whole nation back to the native Americans and go back to Europe and Africa... so remember that your family immigrated here for a better life, the same reason so many people are immigrating here now, before you become too judgmental. next, does anyone remember or even know what it says on the front of the statue of liberty? this country has always stood for tolerance and equality for all, from anywhere.. and though we haven't always done a good job of enforcing that we've always tried and worked towards what was truly right (more or less). I'm not saying to not keep tabs on who is coming into the country, but they have just as much right to a better life as anyone else does, so long as they are willing to work for it.. instead of trying to keep them out.. those that are willing to work for a better life should be able to pay taxes (so don't even say they are a drain on the economy, because if you legalize them they pay taxes and get the same wage as everyone else). on top of all of this, when was the last time any of you wanted to shingle a house or gut a chicken? 98% of the people who read this haven't and most of you would never even consider a job like that, well that's the type of job many of these "illegals" are doing. and you know what happens when someone white is hired on to a job like that? they go straight to supervisory/management. and don't even think that you know otherwise, i live in the poultry capital of the world which is also one of the fasting growing (lots of construction) and one of the highest concentration of illegals.. and you know what, the economy is great here and unemployment is at about 2.5%.. well below the national average. I'm sure this will get a lot of "thumbs down" for a rating, but that just shows the ignorance of the person that read it. an open minded person doesn't close themselves off to alternative ideas (just like the fact that I've read all off these responses).. you don't have to agree with everything someone says, but at least think about it and use your own common since, not what the media or a friend has told you, figure it out for yourself, and put yourself into the other persons situation and ask what you would want others to do for you.

it's not that we don't like you, it's that our country is so over populated, I can't even go to a local park anymore without all the Mexicans having their parties there, You say you come for a better life well what about ours. You take and take from our country and we pay the price. The largest race on welfare is Hispanic, the health care system is a mess because Hispanics rarely pay their hospital bills. It is a huge problem that needs to be solved. Also you are trying to change our language of English to Spanish. Why don't you come legally and then we won't have such a problem with you. Or better yet stay in your own country and protest there to make it better, fix your own problems instead of creating more problems for us.by the way Dat is that.....

I do not hate illegals, just that they are entering illegally and using funds and programs that are set up for legal citizens. Yes there are good illegal people but they are breaking the law just as any criminal! Do the right thing and be processed through the right channels and then be accepted or denied on your applications to our country!Until then, work to better your own country. Get a spine and be brave and save your people from the situation they all seem to want to run from! I really don't think that people who run from their problems instead of staying and fighting for their rights have any business in America!

I don' hate anyone. I think it is great when people want a better life, but one thing that I can't stand is that a lot of illegals come here and have a bunch of kids they can't support and then they get on welfare. There are people out there that really do need that help and can't get it. You want a better life fine. Stabilize yourself legally and financially then have a family. Stop having the taxpayers, who work their butts off, pay for your kids.

Trust me, we do not hate illegals. We hate that you enter this Country illegally as though you are not subject to our laws. You push others out of line while you bully in.
We admire those of you who work and try to make a better life for yourself but not at the expense of the law, other Americans.
You must admit many illegals are committing atrocious crimes against our people.
You are using our tax dollars for education, health care, police and fire protection, the court system.
Do you feel any of this is fair? Don't you agree we should treat illegals the same way illegals are treated in Mexico?
Think it through with an open mind.

Those you hate illegals, maybe they don´t know or haven´t read anything about the US History..... and they don´t know that in some way they have illegal roots too.
Because who are the native people of the US? indians like cheyenes..... others came when America was discovered (people from Europe, Asia and Africa)
And when I say America I mean from Alaska through Argentina. The US is a small part of America but not America itself.

First of all, I am 35 years old and I will speak any way that I wish. I don't recall asking your opinion about the joke that we wrote. I warned people before they read it, "if you don't have a sense of humor, don't read it." Remember? You obviously don't have a sense of humor. It was a joke, if you don't like it...too bad. Here's how it works: you respect me, I will respect you. I give what I get.
And...since you know nothing about me but keep telling me about myself, I am very happy. I have anything that anyone could want. So, when you keep saying that I am not a happy person, you couldn't be more wrong. I bet you didn't know that you could be wrong, did you?

I don't care if you come here for a better life- that is why America was founded right?
Just get your documents so that you're legal. Not only will many Americans be glad you're here- you'll be happier as you can't be kicked back out for working and earning a better life.

How would you like it if I were to demand a room in your house? Well, I mean I would cut the grass once in awhile. And I would undercut your kids on all their jobs. As well as steal from your wallet, and you would have to pay for all of my medical care. If you don't like this then you are a racist.

it is not we hate you, we want you to learn our way just if we would go to your county we would have to speak like you and obey your laws,we want you to get the right paper and take care of your self,just as most Americana's do,i have been to Mexico and some places are bad just like here the grass is not greener on the other side all the time,but we all need to learn the word RESPECT and that is you to not just us,we owe nothing to any one, and people here take and hire you cheep and you should not stand for it, freedom is the word
