i've been hanging out with a different group of guys lately. One of them asked me out, and i didn't respond, but at the time i was talking to my ex. I asked him what i should do, and he said say your heart belongs to me. I knew he was kidding... but i said maybe if i went out with you for a week, it would make it better. I toled the other guy who asked me out that he(my ex) asked me out last night. I couldn't say no because he is so nice and well either way i guessed we(my friends and i) wouldn't be hanging out with them anymore... IS THIS THE STUPIDEST THING I'VE EVER DONE?

Do you still like your ex? If you do you should talk to him about it.
Don't go confusing the other guy, you'll only hurt him.
I'm guessing that you don't like this guy who asked you out in the first place in a romantic way, if you don't like him, just tell him that you don't like him in that way, but you'd like to remain friends.
Telling him the truth is better for both of you in the long run.
I really think you should talk to your ex if you still like though.
Good luck!

No, it's not the stupidest and of course it won't be the first or the last time feeling this way. Before moving on, you should always be clear of your old luggage. Meaning, no feelings for someone else. In starting a new relationship, you don't want to carry over things that has happened in the past. Most importantly, follow your heart, you know who treat you right, respect you, mean you well, and make you happy; uplift you when your down, and keep positive things in your life. if you have any doubts in your ex, move on, don't let the past hold you from a good future. Somtime we hold on to things thats not good/meant for us and we block the blessing of the good.

well did you want to go out with the other guy? and yes its stupid. well maybe not stupid but harsh. i mean getting to know other people is great. but what you did was shoot down all options for more friends. so i dont know what to tell you. it sounds like you need to patch some mistakes up. maybe you dont wanna go out with this guy but you could at least give him a straight anser and apology. for saying that you werent hanging out with his group anymore. think about thing sbefore saying them.

Honestly, we would have to know everything that you have ever doen in your whole life before we can judge wetehr or not this is the stupidest. However, I bet that there is something that you have done that outweighs this small act of stupidity. Curious to know what I think that is?

There are friends and there are friends and you I think are using the word "friends" as someone you don't really trust but someone you can "use" till you move on. In this case you want to keep as much "friends" as possible so you can use them in the future and in this case you use one up. so you just have meet more of these "friends".

The answer to your question is no. You'll do much more stupid thing then this.

it's time to grow up. who you date should not determine who you are friends with. You may have strong feelings for your ex, and that is fine, but you shouldn't stop being friends with people because you are back together. And...also to determine who your friends are going to hang out with, what are you living some weird teen movie. Come on, now!

Depends...if you like this new guy then ,yes it is a bit on the daft side. Why did your ex say that??? Would he do as you did if he was in the same situation??? Or does he just not want to see you move on?

Most likely it won't be the stupidest thing u ever do. We all make mistakes. What is important is that we learn from them. If not, were doomed to repeat them.

Probably. The guy is your EX for a reason, right? He sounds very manipulative.
