If you think it's ok, who cares what everyone else thinks? I don't think we should allow society to dictate age restrictions in relationships. There is a 21 year age gap between my boyfriend and I (I'm 27). I have never been happier in my life. Just like with any relationship, it needs to have the essentials like trust, understanding, communication, interests, goals, etc. If those elements are in place, then nothing else matters. Love is the greatest feeling in the world, and age shouldn't stop anyone from experiencing it.

My wife and I is 15 years different, My Father and step mother is 12 years different, my grand father and grand mother is 13 year different.
The real question is not the age different. It's how emotional mature you and your partner are and are you willing to accept some fact of a full time commitment.

Honey, if you think he is the right one go for it. But also think is his past bad or good? Has he gotten in any trouble with the law?And also think if he has an ex wife ask why and who asked for the papers. But it's more up to you.

if the age difference bothers you, then don't do it. otherwise, go for it. older men have a lot to offer in the realm of experience and maturity.
