She has both ovarian cancer & HPV; she's taken chemotherapy for the ovarian cancer but the meds make her feel drained and terrible. I feel so helpless, yet I wanna help her but without knowledge & money what can I do?

Awwww, that's so sad! Just stay by her side and keep doing what you're doing, she needs you, especially now. And with the hospital bills, make money no object...just hope and pray that she gets better!

Good luck! :-) Keep your head up

Ovarian cancer is uncommon in young women. Ovarian cysts are very common in young women. The size of the cyst is important: in a woman who is having regular menstrual periods a cyst less than 3 centimeters in size is probably a 'follicle', part of the normal ovulatory process and not something to worry about. Cysts can be 'simple', like a balloon with nothing but fluid in it, or 'complex', with a thick wall, debris in the cyst or walls within the cyst called septations. The bigger the cyst, the more the worry about ovarian cancer, though some really large and benign cysts, called 'cystadenomas' have been reported. Some are bigger than footballs, some are so big they have to be taken out of the operating room in wheelbarrows (no kidding). Malignant cysts are called 'cystadenocarcinomas' and are what we usually think about when we think about ovarian cancer. They are not common in young women (under 30). More common would be a large, benign cyst. The last word on adenoma (benign) versus adenocarcinoma (malignant) will have to come from a pathologist, meaning a laparoscopic surgery to get a sample of the cyst if they are really concerned that it is an ovarian cancer. Shortness of breath is a very common complaint that can be related to all sorts of things.

Good day, I am not a medical rep or someone in that business but Im here to give you a little soul lift. I personally admire and salute your attitude towards the situation and I want to say that you are such a good person. Please dont lose hope, you should contact your most reliable health center that are for free. Or you may write to the GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceutical Company to ask for help. I hope this helps. I will pray for you and your girlfriend.

Prayers do help

Not too much you can do, you are not her doctor so it is pretty much out of your hands. Just be there for her, talk to her, let her know you care about her, and try it take it easy. You may feel helpless, but in a serious case like this, there isn't much you can do.

she may end up having her ovaries removed which means she wouldn't be able to have any children. in that case she may become really depressed and will need alot of support from people who are really close to her. you didn't mention what states you live in but are you close enough that you can visit her once in awhile, that would probably help her out alot

Just stay beside her and be there as much as very possible, if not only for emotional support. Tell her NEVER to give up on you and that you love her.

Well has she seen a doctor? that would be good.

There isn't much you can do, it's good that you have shown you care, the most you can do is pray that she will be okay.

Hope this helps.
