I'm a senior in Highschool. There is a guy i go to school with who is so amazing but he's a sophmore. Is it totally wierd and inapropriate for a girl to date a guy that much younger than her?

you were so concerned about this, because you're still an adolescent..but you know what, there's no big deal, dating a guy younger than you...after all, it's not much gap between your ages..don't worry about what people or your friends migth say..don't mind them...if he is really an amazing and great guy and if you like him a lot..just give it a try..don't mind the backbiters..because at your age, i know there are lots of them..i've been to that situation before...and i knew what you feel and what you're going to feel..don't be embarass about that issue...you're not alone...

Ok I know how you feel because my husband of 33 years is 3 years younger than me. At first when we met I was 25 and he was 22. Yes I felt funny and did not let anyone know the age difference then. But as the years passed it did not matter any more. I was in love then girl and still is. So go for it. and the best of luck.
By the way.. we have three grown children now and still enjoy each other company.

As I understand you are 17-18 and he is 15-16? It is not weird. But as long as he is at least 15-16! Younger than that he is a child and you are almost a woman. In 3-4 years the difference will be immaterial, but a boy under 15-16 is too young!

As long as your maturity levels arent's completely different, I don't think so. Personally, I wouldn't date a guy who's younger than me when I'm a teenager. After I'm 22 or 23 then maybe. But everybody feels differently about it. If you feel fine about it, I don't think it's inapropriate.

Hope it turns out well!!

When it comes to true love age really doesn't count because no matter what people say you stick together through up's and downs, so my advice is go for it gal as long as he sweeps you off your feet and makes you happy. You ain't the least wierd

Age is a state of mind. He's probably more mature for his age. If the 2 of you get along and have fun together go for it. There's nothing wrong with it and don't take any grief about it. It's your business and your decision.
