Itching doesn't necessarily mean drug use, so I don't know what made you put that up there....

Have you recently switched any of the products that you use for laundry or personal hygiene? Has the weather changed lately? It's getting cold here, and we're itchy all the time. In my case, it's dry skin.

Take a look at what you've been putting in contact with your body (i.e. laundry stuff & soap, lotions, etc.). You may invest in some dye-free, fragrance-free, and/or hypo-allergenic formulas & see if it fixes the problem. Aveeno products are also good for skin, and especially soothing the itch - just go read the labels for indications & uses.

Also, you may have a very mild food allergy, if you've recently consumed something on a regular basis that you hadn't before. Be sure to stay plenty hydrated while you're working out the problem. I'm willing to bet it's dry skin.

The bodies histamines causes itches. What triggers them off is stress, alcohol (especially red wine), allergy to something new (cosmetics, soap, detergents, plants, cleaning agents), fleas bites from animals or insects in the house, bed bug bites from not washing sheets often, liver damage, withdrawals from caffeine.

Check around (think about what could be new to you within the past 3 weeks) and do take non-drowsy antihistamines until you find out the cause. If its just stress......find a way to de-stress your life.

are you having a detoxing or alergic reaction? Your body is your largest organ and will try to expell toxins. This may lead to itchy, scaly or odorous skin. There are so many things that could be causing such a reaction. Oatmeal baths can sometimes be helpful. Calendula cream or a combination of tea tree oil and vitamin E cream may also be beneficial. Drinking lots of water will be extremely important. Good luck!
