Buying TV dinners just tells people you have no time to cook. There's no other message.
You may want to experiment with a slo-cooker, though. Did you know you can toss a roast in the slo-cooker, dust it with fresh ground pepper, cover it with sliced onion, tuck in a couple of washed potatoes and throw in a couple of carrots before you go to work and have a wonderfully tasty meal when you get home. Add a half cup of water and be sure to plug the slo cooker on before you leave for work.
When you load up a disposable plastic ware container with a slice of fresh roast, half a cooked potato and some cooked carrots, no one thinks TV dinner.
Easy soup recipe: Take the roast drippings with one slice of roast crumbled into it, add a cup of water, some frozen veggies (I like stir fry mix) and those alphabet pasta. When the roast stock is boiling, add the veggies and pasta. Cook about five minutes.
You'll never go back to commercial soup.

Gimme a break! If you were the only person to buy them, there would be no profit and you couldn't find them. Everybody buys them. Most families both adults are working, nobody has time to put together a good healthy meal every night, you're tired, nuke one up and eat it. By buying TV dinners you are supporting farmers and ranchers all over the country, you are supporting the manufacturers and refrigeration techs, graphic artists, photographers, nutritional scientists, chefs, box makers, truck drivers and grocery clerks every where! For buying TV dinners, you are supporting the economy of a nation! You sir, are a great American! I salute you!

Not me...if I feel like I deserve a break from cooking one night, I'll hold my head up high and toss 'em on to the counter with pride..
Personally I recommend most of the Stouffers line (specially Lean Cuisines) and Marie Callender's aren't half bad. Not a big fan of the Hungry Man dinners though.

Heck no.. I like the Healthy Choice ones and if it's just me at home for dinner, they are so easy to pop in the microwave.
I see people buying TV dinners all the time. Nothing to be embarrassed about at all.
SO ENJOY!@

The grocery store is supposed to be a good place to meet potential dates. If you are a young single guy there is some good cooking older lady lurking around the frozen dinner corner ready to take you home and feed you a home cooked meal. Watch your back - and enjoy your frozen dinners, they are the best invention ever.

No body's business what you put in your grocery cart.
Why do you care what other shoppers and grocery check out people think of your purchases!
Sorry, but I think you have a self esteem problem.
No one is better than you!!!!
I like the Marie Calendar Chicken Pot Pies, hot and microwave ready in 10 minutes with the flaky crust and "like mama would make" flavor, while you drop in a load of laundry or put away the groceries.

I can't imagine anyone even remotely caring what I am buying at the grocery store. If you stop and think about why would anyone mind that you buy tv dinners? And why would you care what they thought? It's hard to be so self conscious - try and be kinder to yourself. Good luck to you!

dissimilar mom & pop television shops could have used fashions for plenty much less. and you may additionally look at pawn shops besides. If that doesn't paintings, then purchase Tivo. Then he can checklist all the shows he needs and watch them whilst he needs.

Not me. I'm poor. I buy a bunch of them. The Banquet ones are only a dollar at Jewel (Albertsons).
