I used to work for a vet, so yes mine gets his brushed every evening. Most people will tell you that dental chews will do away with the need to brush the dogs teeth. Not true. Dental chews for them are like us chewing gum to some degree. The chews are good for them, most seem to like them, and it does reduce tarter. Their teeth and gums need to be brushed on a daily basis. Dental hygiene is as important to dogs and cats as it is to us.

Yes and it's a very good thing to do. Also get your dog a dental every year at the vet. You don't want a dog with no teeth when it gets older do ya???

I myself don't brush my dogs teeth, but I take them to the groomers and have it done. Good hygiene for the dogs, keeps their smile pretty :)

I dont brush my dog's teeth, giving them the greenies helps, but make sure that you give them the right sizes, because greenies can kill them if they aren't chewed up correctly. But a yearly dental is recommended.
