It depends on what you mean by famous. Ed McMahon is a former Marine aviator and during the long fun of Johnny Carson's Tonight Show, and his still running commercials he is probably the most famous. I can't remember a TV show the actor Lee Marvin was in, and Captain Kangagoo was so long ago many people today never even saw the show. Other candidates might be Gene Hackman, Don Imus, Steve McQueen, Glen Ford, Drew Carey, Keith Jackson, Dan Rather, Bernard Shaw, Harvey Keitel, and George C Scott.
