You might expect some soreness the first day after the novocain wears off. Usually, the place where you got the injection will be the only sore spot!
You shouldn't be hurting at all by the next day; if you are you should call your dentist right away and describe the problem.

You don't say how long they have been hurting? Normally there is some discomfort after the anaesthetic wears off but this should go away on a day or so. If you are worried go back to your dentist.

They aren't suppose to hurt once they are fixed. Go back to the dentist and have him/her fix it.
