Is it healthy or am I destroying my brain and intelligence(Whatever I have of course)

I feel more carefree when I dont think in words, like theres no possibility of worry or anxiety.
But I can still function.

Is this lateral thinking?

Yes, you can still function. Are you left handed? Many lefties actually tend to think with images and emotions instead of words, so its completely normal for you to think this way.

I'm not sure what you mean. What do you think in when you don't think in words? I mean, if you are thinking purely off of instinct and not really thinking at all, you could get into trouble. But if it's just less anxiety and you behave the same way of course that's not bad, as long as you can get yourself back to normal processing again.

Most people do not actually think in words. Your internal monologue is not your thoughts, it's just a way of expressing them to yourself as words. What you're doing is just thinking as most people think, there's no reason to put words to everything.

Function away. Whatever you're doing, you're doing something right--most people have trouble doing this outside of deep meditation or a vow of silence.
