I am glad I am not a Christian, after reading the first 2 answers.

The Temple, anyway, cannot be rebuilt as long as the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa are there. And, if anyone would dare to destroy anyone's holy place to replace it with their own, it would be defiling G-d. This cannot be done.

That happened once when Antonius Epiphanes sacrificed a pig inside the Temple's sanctuary around 170 BC. In 70 AD, Rome destroyed the Temple as foretold by Jesus prior to his crucifixion.

Daniel foretold this event and Jesus referred back to this event.

Any future abominations of desolation will have nothing to do with the past - the Anti-Christ will set up some form of worship in Jerusalem not necessarily at the temple BUT the Dome of the Rock and/or the Al-Aqsa mosque could be incorporated by the Anti-Christ. The Anti-Christ is also equivalent to the Great Mahdi or Great Imam in Islamic teachings - the Quran mentions both.

I have been told that the Anti-Christ will Sacrifice a Pig on the Altar and Declare himself GOD ALMIGHTY.

See answer on previous question. This already happened in AD 70.

Antiochus Epiphanes in the intertestamental period, and the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D.

Both of these seem to fit.
