Why is it that people (most guys, but some chicks too) like to sit, stare and drool as breastfeed my son in public?

becasue its natural human curiosity. not exactly as our friend Jim describes it lol.and also its not done very often now, breast feeding is becomng more a thing of the past. its the most natural thing in the world so you go for it girl and you feed away no matter where you are. let people stare.

First of all are you putting a blanket or something over you and the baby so no one can see anything. If so, people are curious and of course some people are just plain stupid. To some guys that is very sexy but they need to keep there mouths closed and dream about it on their own time. Sorry this happens to you but people are people. When I breast feed in public if I was at a store I would go to a dressing room but I know there is times you can't do that. So as long as your covered up let them look and just look the other way. It's great that you are breast feeding for the baby.Please do not feed your baby in a bathroom would you {anyone} like to eat in a nasty bathroom? No!!!

Maybe you should go into a more private place to breastfeed your son. Of course people are going to look, your boob is out in public, so either go into a bathroom or something, or throw a blanket over your sons head. Seriously. Thats kind of begging for attention, when you do things like that.

I had four kids and nursed all of them. I spent lots of time in public bathrooms and sitting in the car, because I didn't want or need attention from the public.

well darling they feel so proud for you that you feed your son in the public too when he is hungry. Most of the mothers are shy and let the baby cry just because they dont want to feed or show their breast. Keep it up you must be the great mummy.

I was a nursing mother too and I find that our society is ignorant to human nature. Keep on breastfeeding !!! You know the advantages so don't let others ake you feel uncomfortable about doing what is best for your baby.

you should cover up if you gonna do it in public, otherwise, people are gonna stare when you get half naked to breastfeed. i think you want the attention.

Don't do that in public anymore. You are asking for people to stare at you. Go to the restroom and do that. It makes some people uncomfortable. That's why they stare they are probably just talking about how disgusting it is.

Men are hoping for a glimpe of your breast. Women are probably just curious. Dont let anyone tell you to stop brestfeeding before you are ready...it has a lot of health benefits.
