I've always been a dark chocolate girl but I am finding I really like the smoothness of the white chocolate.

Depends if its for you or a child. If for an adult, dark chocolate every time. However, as the mother of a four year old who loves getting messy, if its for a child I strongly suggest white chocolate. Its much easier to clean. Sorry mothers always think like this isn't it boring.
