It is sad that there be any bashing anywhere. Even more sad if and when I see those proclaiming in Christ Jesus bashing unbelievers.

For it is written; "THough I speak with the tongues of angels and have not love, I am become as sounding brass or a clanging cymbal." 1 Corinthians 13

It would seem that this is a bashing site for many people...but in reality, IF you look at the basher's names, it is the same few who have nothing else to do ...such as work at a job, etc., who are writing 90% of the crap we see here. IF you think that Christians are getting bashed, tune into the Gay/Lesbian portion to see what insidious bashing really is. Good luck and peace.

No indeed, it is also an Atheist bashing site, a homosexual bashing site, a Jewish bashing site, a bashing site for racists to run their mouths, hmm...getting the idea yet? In Yahoo, bashing is pretty much equal opportunity.

No, the bashing comes from all sides. Fundamentalists attack by presenting horribly disgusting statements against others (all supported by a deity that is a projection of people's negative, ego thought system) and then others feel justified in treating the fundies badly. If the real christians and love were to be expressed -- and not the anti-gay, anti-choice, anti-science, anti-medical-research, anti-democracy (pro-theocracy) fundamentalists -- then we'd get a much different site.

This is a site that gives Christians the chance - and believe me they take every one they get - to prominently demonstrate their ignorance and arrogance to the public and make complete fools out of themselves. What you consider 'bashing' is simply the non-christians' reasonable reaction towards such behavior.

Yes. Some atheists and agnostics like to pick on Christians, but they pick on the evangelical and lower church types. They like to pick on them because it is so easy, because a prime Protestant doctrine, sola scriptura, is unreasonable, has no defense, did not exist until the 15th century and therefore is man-made, and is not in the bible. I notice that atheists and agnostics do not engage in debates with Catholics very much on the internet, because evolution, as a science and not a religious belief, is no threat to us.

Anti-Catholicism is very popular in here. It is for several reasons.
The Internet is 99.99% misinformation about the Catholic Church.
People enjoy their prejudices and pre-conceived notions because it is safer.
People think that bigots like Dave Hunt or James White, or TV and radio preachers are experts on the Catholic Church, when in fact they are not.
No one has been able to determine the exact year or teaching of WHEN the Church allegedly fell into error, and they are frustrated and jealous.
Most Protestants don't know anything about the history of the Bible, that is was compiled by Catholic bishops, and that is is a Catholic book that was hijacked by upper class "reformers", and they think the bible alone is a recipe book for Christianity.
So a lot of people don't like Catholicism out of ignorance.

Most certainly not! It is a site where everyone bashes everyone elses beliefs because we obviously know whats really true and other people don't... nevermind that truth is just an illusion based on perception

Yes, there seems to be numerous willfully ignorant people who have nothing better to do than doubt Christianity and have blind faith for some silly religion such as the ones that have books authored by so called great prophets who have no validation whatsoever. Jesus was the only One that rose from the dead whether people like it or not and not only the Bible records this. People have a free will though, so we will all go to a place of our choosing in the end and justifiably so.

hey you need a check up go and see a general physician and if necessary see a Psychiatrist ,wanna know why ,go with a random survey of the data and you see christians bashing islam ,hinduism and are more interested in quoting bible and look that they are not ready to accept that there are other religions in this world which people respect and follow and blindly quote their quotes , I always believed that people in west are broad minded ,but to my surprise they are no better than nomads and equally fanatic in nature as bush ,pope or osama .

grow up in thinking and start believeing in vasudaika(one global) kutombam(family) a global family as in sanatana dharma( hinduism) here i dont want you to worship Hindu gods or religion but only accept one best concept in hinduism which is global family and let the world live in peace.
