Yes as long as it is not projectile vomiting.. If it is projectile vomiting need to take the baby to the doctor.. The baby's formula may not agree with them or it could a number of things... but spitting up is common

yes its actually common up to a year in some cases. it could be from over eating of shaking or acid reflux or even it jsut not settling right in his/her tummy. if it happens alot some ways to reduce it are
1.burp baby frequently during feeding and after sucking a pacifier for a long time
2.keep baby in a upright (greater then 45 degrees) if possible for about 15-30 mins after feeding to let it settle
3.reduce excessive bouncy and jiggly for a lil bit after feeding.

it may not completely go away but you can try to reduce it.

well i would just try ARA DHA enflimil that worked for mine it did not stop the spitting all together but it did reduce how much he did spit up. He spat up really bad i used to describe to ppl like this He spat up like the exercis girl. that is how bad and that is how much he used to spit and yes sometimes it was projected like how she did it on the movie. But when i switched to ARA DHA enflimil that reduced it whole lot and i did ask my doc about it and he did say that he will grow out of it.

Yes, very. If your baby is spitting up large amounts, eg. whole bottles, entire jars of baby food, you may want to ask your doctor about it. There is a disease, acid reflux disease, that affects the esophagus ad renders a baby unable to keep food down.

Yes, it is common and yes if it is projectile vomiting you need to take the baby to the doctor. My son vomited until he was 8 mos, and then an observant pediatrician had him tested for allergies and we discovered he was allergic to all nuts. Saved his life.

I agree with buttons_momma. If your baby is projectile vomiting get him/her to a doctor right away.

Yes, there are a lot of reasons for it. Sometimes baby ate too much & has gas on her tummy, or if you play with her after she's eaten. It's good to sit baby up for at least 30 minutes so her food can settle in her belly. So you dont have to be worried. If it still concerns you though, you can always check with your pediatrician.

My son did spit up at age 6 months. Our doctor said if the baby was spitting up at that age, we were simply feeding him too much.

Yes. I would try sitting him up for 20 minutes after you feed him. Also, he could have acid reflux if he's spitting up more than he's taking in so ask your pediatrician for advice.
