aurobindo..., are all Communists as cynical and closed minded as you are? Does humor go against any of those grand Communist principles? Remember that you draw more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.

In the movie Constantine starring Keanu Reeves, not only are there are Bibles in Hell, but the Bibles in Hell contain extra information that isn't included in Bibles on Earth!
And so the only way to read the entire Bible is to go to Hell!

God doesn't send anyone to hell. It was never His design to send people to hell. It breaks the heart of God to see people, made in His image, make the deliberate choice to go to hell. Hell was not made for people; it was made for the angelic being, Satan, who rebelled against God. In Matthew 25:41, Jesus says the everlasting fire was prepared for the devil and his angels. Scripture also teaches, "[God] is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). That is why God sent Jesus to die on the cross in our place--to bridge the gap between sinful people and a Holy God. The gates of hell are locked from the inside. If you end up in hell, you will practically have to climb over Jesus to get there. Your answer would be No..God will not allow people in Hell to read the bible.

The Bible was made for this world. It would probably burn up in hellfire. But people who have memorized the Bible will still have access to what it says even if they are in Hell. Memorization is no guarantee for salvation.

God and Hell have the same kind of existence as Lady Liberty, Santa Claus, the Geico gecko, the tooth fairy, and Uncle Sam -- fictions that gain power only from the actions (for good or evil) that people take in their name.

(It's physically impossible for one man in a red suit to have flying reindeer and deliver all those presents in one night... yet hundreds of thousands of kids DO find presents on Christmas morning.)

The reason to be good to ourselves and our fellow travelers is not because "god said so" but because we only get one shot at life, one trip in this world.

Isn't Hell already punishment enough? Having to read a 1000+ book of indecipherable ramblings while burning in hell would only add to the torture.

I guess it depends on your perception of heaven and hell.
Myself I believe that with the definitions of heaven and hell, we already live there on this mother earth.I believe it depends on how we are living our lives at this very moment, weather we are in heaven or hell.
