When you say: m.tech....do you mean medical technologist?
I'm a medical technologist and I always thought about pharmacy because the hours are better, the atmosphere is probably better, and the pay is definately better.
You may be able to get in somewhere that is having a hiring shortage and they could train you. You have a science degree and some basic knowledge. I love my job most of the time, but either I was lucky, or decided to have a good attitude about it.
The only risky thing I see in the pharmacy field is breathing in fumes & dust from the drugs, but they may have procedures that decrease that. I know in my hospital, a lot of the pharmacists coincedently are having fertility problems.

Is there a M.Tech course offering pharmacy? Or are you intending to change over. I doubt very much if any college will allow you to join M.Tech on the technical side unless you clear the B.Tech.

I'm sure you can if you want to take a huge cut in salary and work more hours and twice as hard....... What's wrong can you no longer count by fives and recommend the store brand of cough syrup????? Pharmacist is an over glorified and paid profession that the state uses as a means of checks and balances to track the sale and use of prescription drugs for the ever elusive pharmaceutical lobbyists that own Washington and every politician there......
