Buddhism - "the teachings of the awakened one" is a religion, a way of life, a practical philosophy, and arguably a discipline of psychology.
A Buddha is generally considered to be a person who discovers the true nature of reality through years of spiritual cultivation, investigation of the various religious practices of his time, and meditation.
Any person can follow Buddha's example and become enlightened through the study of his words "Dharma" and putting them into practice, by leading a virtuous, moral life, and purifying the mind.

All religions have done that.
The problem is that many who say they follow a particular religion do so only half-heartedly, e.g. many Christians. They know what is required according to the Bible, but still choose to do otherwise. One example is the issue of homosexual practice. The Bible clearly condemns this yet many Christians WHO ARE NOT HOMOSEXUAL condone or approve of it.

Christianity has one, but it's up to each individual to follow it or not. So do most other religions.
I think a more fitting question would be, what religion does not?

Who would want someone else telling him how to live his life?
Why would you consider that something worth having?
