Okay, I know that there are at least 3 men on here who answer questions and believe in fighting Pits, apparently they raise the dogs as well.
So my question is this..
Why do you insult people who ask questions about Pits?
Now maybe I am generalizing a bit but when I read an answer that one of you post to a pit question it rarely offers anything but insults.
More specifically,
Fighting Pit guy, why do you do it?
are you that intolerant of everyone who does not agree with you in life?
can you answer without insults?

I hope you get a real answer to this question but I doubt you will. Anyone who believes in doing something like dog fighting for money isn't going to be the nicest person in the world and probably not very intelligent, either. People who can't see this "sport" for the cruelty that it is aren't going to be model citizens or be able to communicate very compassionately. If you DO happen to get an intelligent response, email me because I'd love to hear it. The most common thing I hear is that the dogs "love" to do it. I disagree. I believe they are just doing what they are trained to do and that's all. A lot of them say they love their dogs, too. They don't love their dogs. They love the money these dogs make them. And it is a lot of money, there's no question about that. I don't know who is worse: the evil people who fight their dogs or the sick f_ckers who pay to watch it. It is an epidemic in some places. I live near Washington DC and in DC and the surrounding communities (such as Prince George's County, MD) you aren't even allowed to own a pit bull because of the dog fighting problem. It's a damn shame.

For us pit lovers and owner. if they are raised right and not for fighting they are the best dogs to have. I have a pit mix and he is so loyal and wouldn't hurt a fly. My two year cousin can pull on his tail, ear and whatever part of his body and my dog does nothing. My pit thinks that he is a lap dog but at 85 pounds he is a little big for that. I believe that people who raise pits for fighting should try what they do to the pits on themselves and they would see how cruel that is to the dog.

I have Pits( Pets not fighters ) I occasionally meet guys who fight their dogs. I have no problem letting them know I highly disapprove. There seems to be a form of reverse prejudice. That is to say, if we think they are out of line by fighting, they think we are even bigger idiots for not. I used to have a big 90# male red nose,I can't even count how many times I was told I should fight him. Love and care for your dogs, report illegal dog fights and do what you can to dispel the negative image Pits get. You can't save the world just do your part.

I think people who fight their dogs are trying to compensate for something else. Anyone who makes their dog fight should be forced to get in the pit and take on the dogs with their bare hands, and with no outside assistance. How big and tough would they be then?

In my belief, people that fight and chose to harm pitbulls or other animals should be locked up for a long long time. Those people are the BIGGEST reason for people hating pitbulls. I also believe that anyone that fights pitbulls is a coward, you fight animals because you yourself are weak. I ask myself all the time, how would the person that were fighting these wonderful breeds, like to be locked up and treated like a murderer? Because they should be.
