I am not sure what a cricket box is but how old are you, and for the most part she might not want you to grow up so fast she feels like she is losing her little boy,get your dad to talk to her or a uncle,and just let them know you want to do it your self that you are a big boy and you need to do this your self,she might need them to talk to her from a man side of view,it is hard for mom i have 5 children and i am over protective at time but i am learning from them and my mom(Passed away)but she taught me some very special ways to love your child with out pushing them away, son just let her know through another male
