I really don't have much luck with girls in my school but then when i go away like camping or to a hotel i can pick up mostly any girl I want. I just wonder why all the girls in my school don't like me. I am not a jerk, I am usually kind of shy and I am obviously not that ugly because I can get any girl outside of school.

It's probably either because someone popular doesn't like you and tells everyone so, or someone started a rumor about you and no one has told you, or you're a jackass and the girls you just meet don't know that yet. Although there are usually lots of girls that like jackass boyfriends so it's probably not that.

Hello Young Man-
The girls in your school have obviously known you for a while and they probably are just being snots.
You shouldn't worry about girls.....you have the rest of your life to find that special someone. You guys are all young and full of life. Live it!
BUT.... if you really think that you want a girlfriend....find one that is like you. You know... shy and has the same interests you do. Don't set your sights too high (like the head cheerleader or the football stars girl)
Maybe the girl you wind up dating will not be from your school she might be the girl next door or the girl behind the counter of McDonalds.

You must present yourself as the "unapproachable" (Shy) type in school. Girls like guys who are outgoing, and you probably act more like that when youre not at home, say on a camping trip. Try pretending youre on a camping trip while at school, and maybe youll get more girls to talk to you. Think of it this way: The worst they can do is say no, so why not try?

It's called high school!
In case you haven't noticed, people in high school only go out with those that are in their cliques.
Sounds to me that you're not in any cliques and that when you go away, people see you for who you really are. Not who you hang out with!
My best advice is to keep it up with the ones you are successful with! Who wants to date somebody they gotta see almost everyday after they break up??
Besides, if you meet some hot girl from another school and bring her to a dance or something at your school, you might find that you are more popular with the girls and the boys! You know everyone is always fascinated by strange...lol!

Girls in school usually want more than one night stands and look at you for a possible long term relationship. Girls in hotels and in camping spots know you are a temporary. It seems that girls in school do not consider you a long term prospect.

The girls in your school don't know what you're like outside or school or on holiday.
Or because they know they are definately going to see you again they might be scared to let you into their lives in fear of rejection at a later stage but the girls you meet outside of school don't have to see you again.
just be friendly with the girls in school and something might build up from there

Maybe because when you see someone so often, you start to take them for granted. This might be the case with you my friend, all of the girls in school are so used to seeing you around. Dont worry about it man, when you move onto college or something different, you'll see how everything changes.

Probably because the girls in your school know you are shy. Usually people that are shy lack confidence, which is a turn off.

It has to do with the way you act. It's the "vibe" you're putting out. My assumption is that when you're in school, you're nice, friendly, quiet... you know.... a "nice guy"... When you're away, I bet you're just yourself. Probably easy going, relaxed, cool. Pay attention to how you're acting when girls approach you and pay attention to how you're acting when you can't get a girl to approach you. Learn from it. Remember that it's all about your attitude. Maybe when you are away from familiar grounds, you act differently since you have nothing to lose, no reputation to upkeep, and it just sends out better vibes.. that you're comfortable and just having a fun time.
Anyway, it's only a problem if you can't get girls anywhere!
