Is there anyone out there who can help me answer questions on the above course - my Assessor is as useful as a chocolate teapot - whatever answers I give she says they are not good enough so I need help expanding on them!!

No help I am afraid, I got fed up with my FMA and decided not to continue to level 3 - I had to fight tooth and claw to get someone out to observe me!! As you are at a higher level than I got to, I doubt I can help - but if you have any specifics, feel free to email me and I'll see what I can do!

Ask your assessor for some specific feedback, not just comments such as "expand this point". Assessors can be very frustrating, and not as helpful as you would like. Do you have a really good text book? Heinmann publishers have great course books relating to this field, if you don't have one, get one!, as the assessor cannot argue with the text books!!

I did this course and had many assesors throught level 2 and 3. For about 6 months I didn't even have one, when I came to finish it the assesor I got was a great lady who was really supportive and a driving force. Whatever you need to ask then you can email me on serenitycourt@yahoo.co.uk
This can be a stressful course if you don't have the right support, I was lucky that the school I was in had great teachers who were behind me all the way. Don't hesitate to contact me for any info as I would be more than happy to help.

Mine's a Muppet too. I'm an NVQ in Team Leading and it's a nightmare. We've had 4 assessors and none of them seem any good. What's your question? I've done N.N.N.E.B in childcare so I know a bit about it.

depends what you want to know i have done my gsvq3 and hnc in childcare and education so if your more specific i may be able to help if i can remember it all!
