He had 16008 wives, He flirted with all those Gopies in Vrindavan including the matured wives of others, He was the Heartthrob of all women of that time ... probably because of that a lot of those people who did not understand His Divinity were jealous of Him. Any thoughts conflicting or confirming these lines? Lord Krishna's story probably you can read from the following link on Bhagavatham

first of all tell me is it a sin to have a relation with so many or others' women ? what is your defination of sin ? see, eating pork is a sin for muslim, where as it is a regular food for so many people in different cultures. whether krishna was devine or not that is a different matter because he never said that he is devine. yes, you will argue about Gita that was told to arjun by him. but don't forget that gita itself is a part of mahabharat which was written by maharshi vyas. so obviously maharshi vyas is the author of gita. so whenever you try to understand krishna or gita, never think krishna as a devine being or 'avatar'. instead, think of him as a statesman, a bueurocrate, or a complete man, a machismo, then only you can understand the personality of krishna and the dynamics of his character. and one more thing for all people reading this, that hinduism is not a religion but it is a way of living. neither in gita, nor any of the hindu religious writings, whether puranas or upnishadas, or vedas the word hindu is used. hinduism is never developed as a religion as islam or christanity and it is not a religion based on any book. vedas which are first contents of hinduism were being written for more than 2000 yrs. and this name hindu is given by other people to the hindus. is there any 'payagambar' or 'messiah' or any 'messenger of god' who has run his religion for thousands of years without name ? centre of hinduism is not god but a search of god. hinduism doesnot say that there is a god but try to find out if there is one or not. so an atheist and a believer as well as a pantheist anyone is respected by the hinduism. FROM THIS POINT OF VIEW YOU TRY TO UNDERSTAND KRISHNA AND TRY TO FOLLOW THIS PHILOSOFY AND YOU WILL NEVER BE UNHAPPY, NOT EVEN FOR YOUR SINS. I GUARENTEE YOU BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING NAMED AS SIN IN THIS WORLD. (what you call yoga is the invention of krishna. he was the yogeshwar. and do you know one more thing about krishna ? HE NEVER HAD AN EJACULATION. he had a mastery in 'stambhan yoga'. he had a practise to suck water, milk, honey, and mercury through his penis inside his body and he never had children.)

One mistake that students of Vedic knowledge make, is to go directly to the tenth canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam and read about the pure pastimes of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, these pastimes and activities in the spiritual world can never be compared to the mundane lust that exists in the material world.
Krishna is unlimited in all respects and in the case of his 16,108 wives, he expanded himself into 16,108 individual Krishna's, married each one, built a palace for each and through the influence of yogamaya made each one think that they had been specifically chosen above all others.
This is not even one of the spectacular pastimes, Krishna can perform activities way beyond even the wildest imagination of the individual jiva, study the Bhagavad Gita As It Is then the Srimad Bhagavatam Canto's1 to 9, chant Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare, on japa mala 1,728 times a day and attend to daily sadhana, under the guidance of a bona-fide spiritual master, then these pastimes can be approached with the instructive blessing of Guru and Gauranga.

You must understand Lord Krishna with the help of acaryas, spiritual masters coming in unbroken disciplic succession, otherwise you will misunderstand Him. Study the books of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (his purports of Srimad Bhagavatam at www.srimadbhagavatam.com)

RE: Hinduism...Is Lord Krishna really 'tri-bhanga' or bent at 3 places? I saw some members quoting Brahma Samhita 5.31 on a question on 'Banke Bihari' 'ālola-candraka-lasad-vanamālya-va... ratnāńgadaḿ praṇaya-keli-kalā-vilāsam, śyāmaḿ tri-bhańga-lalitaḿ niyata-prakāśaḿ, govindam ādi-puruṣaḿ tam ahaḿ bhajāmi' It says Lord Krishna is...

Look at who you are talking about...God! Of course people are gonna be drawn to him because he is the very definition of beauty, grace, love, excitement, etc. He is everything-A lover, a friend, a father, etc. It's too much to explain, so just read this book: The Journey of Self Discovery by Srila Prabhupada. You'll get a much better understanding, guaranteed.

I'd have to agree, but I think in Krishna's case, I wouldn't look at it in a necessarily negative connotation. He was having a good time and so was everyone around him.
