Watching your food portions but still eating what you love. In my case whatever my mom cooks. And quiting the diet soda and drinking only water? Exercising a little. Maybe 4 days a week playing ddr on standard for an hour. It gets my heart rate up.

Will that help me lose weight slowly?

thanks

It should hun.

I love the loose weight slowly idea!
All too many times in this culture we want everything to work right away I can tell you when I was 15 I took diet pills to loose weight. Bad idea. I lost 60 ponds in 3 months and looked great but I wound up needing my gallbladder removed due to th rapid weight loss and almost died.

Slow and steady! Good Luck Babe.

Oh and you can always email me at sdc3dfwm@yahoo.com for support I have dealt with weight issues my whole life ( im 27) I love to give support

I think it sounds like a FINE idea. That way, you know you'll stick with it and achieve good results. A diet, as such, is only for a limited amount of time. If you develop new eating habits, the whole weightloss thing becomes painless. I have pretty much been doing this for awhile now and, although I sneak a diet soda occasionally, I drink LOTS of water and walk for 45 minutes to an hour six days a week. GO FOR IT!

Watching your food portions and switching to water is great. I don't think playing ddr counts as exercise. You have to do more than increase your heartrate. You have to move the muscles and work your lungs. Try a brisk walk for 30 minutes a day or go for a bike ride.

That sounds like a good plan. A doctor told me many years ago to eat what I've always eaten, but eat smaller portions. That's what you're doing. And quit the diet soda. Good luck.

It'll help you lose weight, but make sure you're getting the proper nutrition as well. If you're only eating cupcakes because they're what you want, yes you'll get only that amount of calories and lose weight, but their empty calories that wont help your body develop itself.
