it will be too soon. the run-up to the illegal and immoral war included all that talk of WMD just as there is talk of nukes now.
US is the only nation to have dropped nuclear bombs (and on 2 civilian targets) so why its government think they have a right to tell others they can't have nuclear technology is beyond me.
unfortunately it's clear from the answers to this question that many US citizens will be fooled again. how can people really believe that such a powerful nation as the US can be threatened by these middle eastern nations so far away and with no foreign bases? US has permanent militarybases in more than 100 other countries, a handful of which surround Iran.
Bush is just an idiotic front man for neo-con policies. if he had half a brain he wouldn't be able to sleep at night. please, someone, create a slightly bigger pretzel.

Read the book written by Obama's sr. foreign policy adviser, Brzezinski, called the "The Grand Chessboard". The plan for Iran and Iraq is nicely set out there. Interesting, he also predicted a "9/11" type event to scare the dickens out of the people to secure support for the wars. Look up Brzezinski's connections to the gang of bandits commonly referred to as "neocons". Look up his connections to David Rockefeller. Once you understand Rockefeller's agenda, you understand war. We are going into Iran regardless of what Iran does. It was planned years ago and now the plan is in play. Don't expect the corporate controlled main stream media to do anything other than beat the war drums. The media is owned by a few giant corporations who also own other corporations that profit from war. Don't trust the messenger when the messenger is the profiteer. Use non-corporate, independent news sources to learn about Iran. Telly (above). If you think Obama will be any different than McCain as to foreign policy, think again. Both candidates are members of the Council on Foreign Relations. A CFR candidate is taking us into Iran, democrat or republican.

Wake up and smell the hummus. This is war. Your figures add up to about 43 days of fighting in world war II (a little perspective). Not that I mean to impugn the worth of these people or invalidate their meaning to their families, far from it. No death is acceptable in those terms. You can't blame the US for all these deaths either. This is sectarian violence. They are doing this to each other. Iran is helping, Hezbollah is helping, Al-Qaeda is helping, Syria is helping, some Saudi's are helping, some Egyptians are helping kill these people. When did it get to be the fault of the US for every wrong, every evil, every deficiency, every injustice found on the face of the earth fella'? You want to stop the fighting? Offer a solution that will work. You'll be the smartest guy on earth then and you can stop beating your chest for all the people you wouldn't spend a minute of your own time to go over and help. Hypocrite.

Why don't you go ask him.
How many Foresst Gumps do we have on this forum?
I think the next war should be internal. We could round up all you America haters and maybe build a wall around Wyoming or North Dakota and just dump your butt there.

less people are dying now compared to when hussein was in charge , also how can you prove the deaths are resulted from the us military , everytime I turn on the news there are car bombs from their own people killing their own people . The question is do you care about lives in general , if you do then this war is just due to less deaths overall

Geez. I think there are more war supporters on this site than there are people signing up for military service.
These warmongers need to stop being hypocrites and sign up for military duty.
