Take her to the vet immediately, with a sample of the feces in a plastic bag. Your puppy will need a worm-er right away.
If your puppy has worms that you can actually see then this case has already gotten very bad.
Puppies that have worms are losing lots of nutrients in their diet, as all the worms are taking most of this from them. Your Puppy could start to become overly thin and sluggish, a sure sign of nutrient deficiency from the worms.

This is a Tapeworm problem. Tapeworms are caused when a dog ingests a flea. You will need to call your loval vet and see if you can pick up some medicine for it. Most of the time you wont have to bring your pet in, but every Vet is different. This usually comes in a Pill form, most common name for it is Droncit. Droncit gets ONLY tapeworms. There is another kind, its more expensive (running around $5 per pill) and it gets hookworms, roundworms, and tapeworms. I would recommend if your dog hasn't been dewormed recently that you request that kind. The pills are given according to age ( im not sure on the exact dosage but for example 1-5# dog gets 1/2 pill, 6-10# gets 1 etc) If you treat your dog for tapeworms today, and he swallows a flea tomorrow, you are doing no good. You will have to retreat your dog for tapeworms when you start seeing them. So you will also need to pick up a flea treatment. I recommend Frontline. Its expensive around $12-15 a single tube applicator that lasts from 3wks to 3months depending on the flea problem, and your dog. But it is the best stuff on the market. Treat your dog for 2-3 months and you will have no more fleas. Promise. You might also treat your yard and house too, if its an inside dog.

Sounds like tapeworms. If the pup has been wormed already, then you can call the vet and ask them about a tapeworm tablet. Or, you can get them a pet store or even tractor supply has them. Tapeworms are from eating infested fleas.
Now, if your puppy has not had any kind of wormer yet, then you should get it to the vet because tapeworm is probably not the only one she has.
Just remember, that normal over the counter wormer does NOT get rid of tapeworm... It has to be a tapewormer. And tapewormer does NOT get rid of any other worms.
Hope that helps

this is not normal
your puppy should have been dewormed BEFORE you got it.. if it has worms I wonder what else is wrong with it?? was it at least vaccinated and health checked??
for you to notice the worms it means the pup is heavily infested..
DO NOT use over the counter (from pet store) dewormer as these are not broad spectrum and will not kill all types of worms
go to a vet on monday (or today if they are open) and get the pup checked and dewormed properly

Your puppy has tape worms. You need to take it to the vet to get shots and a general checkup. People who do not take care of their pets don't need pets.
Don't get me wrong - the puppy does not have tape-worms because you did something wrong, they just get them, but they do need taken care of. Over the counter Worm medicines are not much good. So go to a vet.

Take her to vet the so she can be dewormed. Regardless of worms, puppies need to go to the vet for a physical and for vaccinations.
