All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realise what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do. 2 Timothy chapter 3 verses 16 - 17

Yes, and if one seeks they shall find. There maybe many interpretations of the Bible, but there is only one God and however you chose to have God touch your life, the answers will be in any one of the interpretations as God will guide you to the truth and all your answers-----
seek and you shall find---

Of course when we know and believe He lives within us we do not need to waver and check everything out. If we practise fullon will surrender and develop a straight line to than inner conscience, the heart will lead us ever closer. Living without fear brings us closer to God. Checking if every step is right I think the Stone may drop on you, because if you waver you do not get far. Better a full on mistake but really living, then a fearful maybe this is a sin existence//

And as for what is wrong in our lives: Love is the missing link. We all react in different ways to feeling seperate from God, and a druguser is not worse than you are..Maybe he suffers more from the loss?? It is the feeling of seperation that needs to be healed in all of us, before attacking eahother on the ways we cope with this,,

Don't get me wrong, scripture is fine. If you develop a vertical line with God however, and ask Him in the morning, He will answer your questions. He could lead you to a bible verse, more likely you will hear a song on the radio, a friend makes a statement, you see a billboard with the answer or.... and this may be on occasion, your get closer to the answer to your question here.. He will answer you in various ways, you need to tune in to it though and not expect the answer to come from a guy with the bible all the time..Just scripture paints the picture of Him being far away, develop a personal relationship and you know He also lives in the modern world and is not a baby anymore (altthough if you want you can call Him baby...).

That He is trying hard to NOT fall back into the bible but start His life, over and over He states "My life cannot wait.". And then "How can I call when you just don't give Me reason, at all"..... Pray so your ears open, your eyes, your heart, pray for wisdom. Ask Him, He will answer.. Also the scripture will come alive this way, it is fantastic, you may actually develop enthousiasm for it if you thought you never would!!

Take a listen to the radio!!

All this said, you may need the bible again after you have practised free living, taking showers outside in the rain, really living, loving someone with all your heart etc.. then the Call comes and you can use the Book as an ascension guide..

Love

PS I dunno how we got on it but I wanna say He tells me you can die but you're never death. Also all of us shall change (convert is mind/body process) not all of us shall die.. Read the scripture?? Believe it?? Then try to get Home right here and now and grow in consciousness.. He is a God for the living, heaven is a place on earth/ Help Him start His life.

Really? Ordinary men wrote the bible, inspired by God or not, people are flawed...which is why the bible is flawed. A few good teachings here and there, but most of it just doesn't make sense and some parts contradict other parts.

Did you know there are over 33,000 unique Christian cults all with their own interpretations of the bible?

A person seeking answers would be as well off closing his eyes and relaxing for five minutes. Whatever answer comes into his head will be superior to anything he'll find in the bible or any place else.

ROFL @ Tony (above):

You've noticed that too. Ask many, rate none. Easy to ask, rating is too hard and takes too much time...

Yes they are. Some answers are easier to show people than others. Some people think that they must understand everything before they can believe the Bible.

It may have some useful answers, but it also has a lot of bunk, and that means that biblical scholars spend an inordinate amount of time trying to separate the wheat from the chaff. (It's called "interpretation".)

Yes. Just take out the scripture reference and quotation marks and scripture works quite well. If Jesus can uses it against the devil, well..., you get the point.
