Don't confuse "Use By" with "Best Before".
The former is only found on products such as milk or meat, and should be followed, give or take a day.
"Best Before" is advisory only, and refers to the quality of the product.

if it's cadbury's then YOU MUST EAT IT! do not waste it or your be arrested by cadburys umpa lumpa's. cadbury's chocolate is like gold nuggets!!!
on the other hand if it's nestle or mars then aim for the nearest bin and go for it!
( no offence nestle or mars , but how can you call yourselve's chocolate makers. it's not proper chocolate!)

does it have a filling? I don't have a problem with old choccy, but ancient strawberry/mint/orange etc filling, you shouldn't even eat it when it is fresh. Those choc company's passing off goo disguised as choc should not be allowed get away with it
