She loves "this little piggy went to market". I know "itsy bitsy spider" and "ABC". I can't remember the moves for "This Old Man". Any ideas for physical movements to songs or physical games like "this little piggy"?

Maybe some card games. There are some really cute ones out there with animal pictures, numbers, letters, etc. Put them all face down and play a match game.

This old man goes:

This old man he plays one, he played knick knack on the thumb with a knick knack patty whack, give a dog a bone, this old man comes rolling home. Then repeat with

2 - on my shoe
3- on my knee
4 - on my door
5 - on my hive
6 - on my sticks
7 - up to heaven
8 - on my gait
9 - on my line
10 - he played knick knack all over again.

There is also little bunny foo foo, but that's a long one. Good luck and have fun. You sound like a good mom.

Hide and seek!!! My 3 1/2 year old loves it! Make it fun by saying "ok where are you" and go through the house saying are you in the closet and say Nope! That makes it more exciting. Besides games, I print out tracing pages for my son and give him markers and crayons and let him trace the letters and 2 months into this he is tracing at 100 % They are such good learners at this age! Have fun! Oh yeah recently at lunch time I will sit with him at the table and say I spy something with my little eye that is (blue) and he loves that game!

What a great question! I am enjoying the answers as well! My daughter loves roll playing. She loves being the preschool teacher and I am the student. She "reads to me", has me "play in centers", take a nap, etc. I think it is also good for their imagination. If you stay home with her and she doesn't know about teachers, you could roll play with mommy and daughter. Let her be the mommy and you be the daughter. They LOVE that.

My sons favorite activity is music time. We dance all over the house. I get a ton of excercise an we have a wonderful time just enjoying eachother. Plus it makes me feel a bit like a kid again.

that's a great age!
Try "put your left foot in" that's a favorite.
Another is "hide and seek", however you have to be able to be found pretty quickly, and you have to vocalize your search for the young one and act surprised when you find her!
Have fun!
