Could you tell me how I would get to the Mayaguez Zoo using public tramsporation from San Juan??? Thanks

There is a public bus called "La linea" that takes you straight from San Juan to Mayaguez for about $15 each way (5 years ago), maybe it's twice that now. The company name is: Linea Sultana in San Juan [phone] or [phone] and in Mayaguez [phone] or [phone]. Once in Mayaguez you will have to take a taxi to the Zoo. Once there say hi to the elephant named Mundi, which I named 18 years ago.

I'm sorry there's no bus from public transportation that takes you to Mayaguez. The only thing you can do is tell someone to drive you there or pay a taxi. You can take a Coach bus but is a little expensive.
