My wife calls me Techno Boy, because if somebody made some gadget I had to look at it and in some cases I had to have it. The thing is I don't just buy the item because it's cool. Contrary to my wife's belief, I don't just buy things to have them, they need to serve a purpose or I don't buy them plain and simple. I also look for quality in the products, because I don't want to buy crap that isn't going to last. Believe it or not, I have a stereo Sony turn table that I bought in the very early 80's and it still works.

Anyway, I think the best, coolest and most useful gadget I have is my Palm Tungsten T3 organizer, because I can use it to keep track of all the important things in my live such as:

1.) Schedule all my Doctors appointments while I'm at their office (I see a lot of Doctors).

2.) Keep track of birthdays and other important dates.

3.) Keep track of all my medication.

4.) Keep track of all my accounts and passwords (the program is password protected incase someone ever gets a hold of my Palm).

5.) My address book.

6.) I can also create and edit Microsoft Word/Excel documents and view Power Point Presentations.

7.) Put photos on it to show people.

8.) View Real Player video clips.

9.) Play games (I usually do this when I'm in the waiting room at the Doctor's office or at the hospital waiting to have a test done).

My T3 is actually the second Palm Pilot I have had. The first one I had was the m130 and it was very useful, but I upgraded to the T3 because it had a faster processor, more memory, lasted longer on the battery, and it had a stretch display where you could pull it out and go to a longer or wide screen mode. How cool is that! Plus, it had a keyboard on the screen where you could type in your letters and numbers instead of having to learn a new way of writing.

My recent addition - PC to TV transmitter & receiver. I can watch my downloaded movies on the big screen without having to do any encoding or burning disks. The coolest thing is it comes with a remote control so I can control the PC from the bedroom.
