excercise isn't going to make you grow taller,
although serious weightlifting will make you grow slower ( as it takes up a lot of the power your body would use for growth)
it is possible to "strech" you back, but its not gonna give you massive height.

to loose some weight, any regular activiy that raises you heart rate for more than 20 minutes is gonna make you loose weight
the key is regularity ( enjoying that activity is helpful, and so is doing it with someone to keep you motivate)

dancing,
excersise bike,
aerobics ( excercise tape)
those kinda things.
as you slim down, you will look taller though, I hope that is helpful

Pilates is good for creating longer, leaner muscles. It can't really make you taller, but you'll be more toned, which is always good. Yoga is great as well. For maximum weight loss, mix it up with cadio as well, this is also essential for overall good health. Dance around to upbeat music, it's fun and you'll work up a sweat!

start with yoga and palates! get some DVDs for home, or take classes in the gym. the simple exercise will make u taller and lose weight.
