Take it out. It will stretch and you're risking an infection. You'll have to take antibiotics whilr pregnant. Reevaluate and see if you REALLY want to have a piercing anymore. You're a mom and a mature woman now and you maybe feeling differently about some old decisions. That's just my opinion and if you don't agree, it's your body. I believe people should do what they feel is right for them, so this is just a reply from someone in the medical field who's seen some complications.
I will just wish you a great pregnancy and a wonderful motherhood.

On Tonguestud.com they actually have belly button rings that you can wear throughout your pregnancy. If your doctor thinks it would be unsafe or it starts to become uncomfortable then I would take it out. My cousin has her navel ring in still and she is due any day. Also, if you have had your piercing done for awhile it should be fine to take it out for labor and delivery or you could even wear a retainer if your navel and baby belly will allow. The retainer is safe to wear during most procedures because it's plastic and not the standard surgical steel.

I agree with sam most hospitals want you to take them out when you go have the baby although you can keep them in your whole pregnancy until tat day. The hole does not close as fast as people may think I had mine done for 4 years and took mine out for a year and it was STILL open! BEST WISHES

No need to take it out unless you don't mind it closing up. But because the skin stretches so mush it is best to get some pregnancy belly bars made from soft plastic. I bought mine online and wore them for the last few months of pregnancy - and during labour!

My aunt just had a baby and she had her belly button pierced. Yes you have to take it out. But say like once every week or two, put it back in for like 10 minutes, just to make sure it doesn't close. That's what my aunt did and she had her baby and still has her belly button ring! ;)

even with the reality that they make versatile plastic earrings to positioned on at the same time as pregnant, merely about each well being care specialist will inform you to have this bumped off by making use of the seventh month or your abdomen button ring ought to rip the floor via stretching. On a lighter word, if the hollow does close in this time, any solid peircing artist will be able to use an analogous hollow to reinsert the hoop so as no longer to operate scarring on your naval.

Its fine, all you need to do is go to your local tattoo or body piercing shop and ask them for a pregnancy bar.
They are made from plastic not steel, and they grow with your belly , but be worned they will still ask you to take it out if you need to go into theatre.
Also try ebay you will probably get them cheaper on there.

You'll be luck to keep your belly button. Mine was the size of a tea plate. Its ok if yu don't get huge but you will need to take it out for labour.
