listen rakesh ,i'm fasting because i am a muslim that loves God and every last thing about islam .there is nothing wrong with eating ,it's not called STARVATION!to all the muslims rock on and ramadan mubarek to you all.Peace and love to all. P.S rakesh don't rain on my parade at such a wonderful time in my life,may god help you with your problems in life because clearly you have some.may you take a different path in life and find happiness and faith.peace

I am helping to run an interfaith meeting in the middle of Ramadan. We will keep tea and coffee in a room away from others that are fasting and have a prayer room set up.
We are people of the book who repect God; respect the prophets; and resect you guys that fast. May you be blessed

in Jordan it starts tomorrow.
today, Palestine, Iraq, lebanon and the gulf countries are fasting.
the rest start tomorrow.

well u lot are not really fasting. if u wake up in the early morning and eat and stuff yourselves with food, and then again in the evening, u lot are basically eating 2 meals and in theory are just missing lunch and just not eating for a few extra hours than usual. its a total joke. fasting is not eating food or only eating certain food for the whole day such as fruit and veg and nothing else, thats wat u call a fast. fasting means u are not meant to think about food and u are meant to think of ppl suffering and god, but muslims are saying ' eat well in the morning so u dont get hungry' meaning they are just making sure they dont get hungry. and another thing waking up at like 2 or 3 am in the morning just to eat and stuff yourselves.....i know u muslims are not gonna like this answer but its the truth, just ask yourself wat is fasting. and i dont know what the 1 billion muslims in the world are hoping and wishing for when they fast coz there are places in africa where ppl dnt get food, there are still wars going on, islam is still not respected by everyone, world is getting worse so thats why u lot are gonna get nothing out of it coz u dont know the true meaning of fast. and the few muslims that do i apologize., but most dont.

Last year i had 2 PE classes in 1 day and i was fasting, and every tuesdays and wednesdays we had to run...that was the best year. This year i only have 1 PE class...YAAAAAAAA

For most of us in the east, fasting will start on sunday. I'm one of those peeps who'll be fasting, inshaAllah.
