my three year brother is being a real brat and im watching him. he started yelling at me cuz he took somthing me that i needed and i took it back, then he took a block and throw it at me and i put him in time out and now he's yelling at me still and i don't want him to wake up my sister.
can you give me advice please

Put away the blocks first! Put away anything else that can be used as missiles too! The block throwing episode is dealt with, so forget it and lighten the mood, or things will go from bad to worse.
Set up something fun for him to do - don't expect him to amuse himself, or he'll get up to mischief quickly again.
If he starts taking your stuff, trade him for something he likes - much better than just taking it back. He's probably just looking for a little attention.

Unfortunately he is acting as all three year old boys do. He is testing his boundaries with you. Little kids always do that. I have a little bot that will be three in October. Putting him in time out never worked but what we did find that worked was to put him in his room. For some reason, even though all of his toys are there he hates to be put in his room I would tell him that if he doesn't start behaving and stop yelling, I am going to put him in his room. If he continues to yell then do it. You can put a baby gate up to keep him in there.
The most important thing in disciplining a child is consistency and to always follow through with your threats. Don't threaten him with anything that you and he knows you will not do. If you say you are going to put him in his room then do it. If you say you are going to turn off the t.v. then do it.

If he wakes up your sister then he wakes her up. do not give in to him otherwise every time you look after him he will know if he screanms loud enough and long enough he will win. turn up the radio and ignore him but keeping an eye on him to , dont leave him in any danger at all. sit at the PC your on now with him in sight and just make sure he is ok but dont give in to his whining he will stop eventually just explain to him he was wrong and has to be in time out becasue he was naughty.

You need to tell the little brat who is boss!!! Trust me I am 13 and have 5 little brothers!!! You can either try a calm approach or lock him in his room with no supper until ha behaves!!! It works for me!! Good luck!!!
