Nescafe make instant coffee (that is, pure, real coffee which has been brewed and freeze dried). It is quite a complicated process and some varieties are nearly as good as freshly-brewed coffee. It quickly loses its best flavour, however, once the jar is opened.
My favorites are the Alta Rica and Nescafe Espresso, which is better than some espressos I've bought! It still takes a whole pint (6 teaspoons of instant coffee) to wake me in the morning - that is, perhaps, equivalent to half a pint of real espresso, though!
The advantage of instant coffee is that you only need to boil a kettle (and wash a mug). There is no waiting for it to brew or 'perk' and no messy grounds to deal with after. The disadvantage is that it can never have the aroma of real coffee!

Yes I can tell the difference between Nescafe and coffee. There is a certain pizzazz that is missing in other coffees. My husband won't drink anything other than the original, and can tell the diference if you try to trick him.

The people who make it say it is good.
I use it a lot but I have no sense of taste.

nescafe is coffee but it is not the only kind maxwell house is also populer. nescafe promote themselfs as the best or true coffe and catholics do concerning christianity I think nescafe is closer to the truth than catholics

Nescafe is a brand of coffee, but is better known for its instant coffee, which is quite disgusting but very welcome when you run out of regular coffee. The the basic rules of survival apply and all forms of caffeine are welcome to get the engines running.
