Do you believe all the Gods in every religion is real?

Or do you think some of them are man made?

What's your take on the different cultures and their Gods?

Gary: Don't be so full of yourself, for all we know your god is man made, so don't make a fool out of your religion like that!

I answered this question in another thread you posted. Let me put it in a different way.

Everything is real. The Old Religion is real as are the monotheistic religions. They are real because all of us, in our own way, create our own reality. The reason for that is everything is energy in one form or another - including thought. Therefore, if you believe the Trinity is real and true, it is. If you believe the Gods and Goddesses of old are real, they are. It is a simple matter of attraction.

I am a believer in the Old Religion. I have personal relationships with some of the old Gods and Goddesses. What I find fascinating is that each pantheon of Gods and Goddesses reflect and are similar to the others. Consequently, I am not entirely sure if they are man made or if they were there prior to our awareness of them. It might just be a Catch 22. A chicken and egg thing. Whatever it is, I do know them therefore they are real to me.

The different names and identities for the Divine in different cultures is a FASCINATING subject I never tire of learning about. The 'GODS' are real to the ones that perceived them and are a personification of a real phenomena.

I believe that their is the one broken down into many by the human mind. I think that their are archetypes as Carl Jung put froth and that these dieites are in all religions and all spiritualities in one form or another and are called by different names. I think they act together and seperate and that they are all real in some form.

They are all the same God. The different names are simply intended to be descriptive of different aspects of the same God.

There is only one God but he has as many names as their are languages and cultures.
