Is God actually the inner devine spark inside of living beings? Is God 'life' itself?

How can anyone disagree if they admit that they are unable to understand God?

In my personal beliefs God is the divine spark, life itself, death, the stars and the earth. Both male and female and neither. God is both no-thing and everything. And yes I can't understand everything about diety but in trying to understand the divine I learn about myself and who and what I am and can and should do.

What I find interesting is that you put "Gods" in the subject line but spoke of "God" in the singular in the body of the question. My take on it is simply this.

"Life" is a reflection of the divine force with runs the Universe. The human being, being an infinitesimal spec when compared to the vastness of the Universe, is not fully capable of perceiving God. Consequently, the best way to grasp even the tiniest part of this divine intelligence is through the Old Religion. Polytheism. By being able to visualize and conceive of god by means of looking at a single part, you at the very least get some sense of the whole. It is my humble opinion that the Gods and Goddesses of old are aspects or parts of this greater intelligence.

Hi paradox. Thank you for your question. Like you, I notice a lot of religious people going back and forth about this question of understanding God. It creates a lot of sound and fury around here. But I just want to wonder out loud why all the fuss? Why is it so vital that we understand everything there is to know about God? Why can't we just accept the fact that we actually know almost nothing about God except that God is an eternal mystery. Personally, I am happy with that mystery. I trust it. It keeps me ever curious and interested. It leads me on and challenges my abilities as a spiritual person. I don't have to understand everything about God because I never imagine I have to. A good loving relationship should always have some mystery in it, don't you think?

I never said I don't understand god I said I don't believe in him that's how I can disagree. No God is not life itself nor is he "the inner devine spark inside of living beings".

i imagine it truly is like falling in love - there is thousands and thousands of people, so why do you sense so strongly about merely that one human being? God's the source of affection, so his love can and does contain each individuals. human beings die. Christians trust it really is the suitable of fabric/actual existence, yet that the soul is eternal and in no way extremely dies. human beings pray to percentage their hearts with God, to thank him and to and ask for help. per chance you should run all the way down to the book position and performance a glance of their faith and philosophy sections to work out what pastimes you and makes the most experience.

Yes he actually is the spark inside us, some people never get to know that spark, we live so fast today, that we never stay still long enough, to feel theri inner self, which is the peacefull part of us, the calm, and when you have the Holy Ghost inside it is a fire, that roars and you want to shout to the world, how great this feels. it is the best high you will ever feel, I have taken many drugs, never have I been as high, as when God came into my life.

First you must come to the understanding of who your are inside your mortal soul.Yes , in the beginning in the first season in this cycle in time .the first man was born and was created from out of the earth..Mankind is earthly by human nature and the soul which is your physical body and is earth bound with the passing of the first death upon your physical life. When that comes to pass over your spirit make sure that spirit within you is a clean spirit ,that was full of love full of giving full of caring and full of faith in living out your new found spiritual life in the code of righteousness. The GREAT GOD is the HOLY SPIRIT OF EVERLASTING LIFE.Through that holy breathe that enter the soul of the first men ,he became a living soul .You see the GREAT HOLY SPIRIT GIVE ALL OF THE LIVING THAT EVER LIVED A LIFE A LITTLE PART OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE THAT CAME OUT OF THE ONE TRUE LIVING GOD.You see you were created in the image OF GOD AND SPIRIT IS ALL THAT YOU REALLY ARE ONTO YOUR SELF YOUR TRUE SELF .and your GOD IS A HOLY SPIRIT AND YOU ARE TO WORSHIP THAT GOD in spirit. But as for those lost souls that fail to hear and come to understand these words WHY BOTHER your already dead and don't ever know it,Just planting some holy seeds inside your souls ,to grow spiritually in spirit. If not your unclean spirit inside your mortal soul passes onto the second death

I love your analogy of God like a spark being present in every living being. We all wonder about that force that seems to guide the universe, and of course our feeble minds are ill-equipped to know exactly how God works, looks, acts, wants, etc...but religion is the expression of our spirituality, and I don't think it's over the top to say that every person's model of God is as unique to themselves as their fingerprint. It seems all the world's religions are more similar than they are different, but even if all the common elements were combined, the differences would still exist in the mind of every beholder.

Peace...

If we could understand God fully in human terms he would be our own invention and not someone from outside our experience, then why bother?
It's just like relationships between the sexes, we can't fully understand people of the other sex but we try for the sake of love.
It's that way with faith.

If God can't communicate in terms humans can understand, he's not too omniscient. The fact that there are so many religions show that either gods don't exist or they're not omniscient or they couldn't be bothered with us. The Bible is so vague and self-contradictory that if it was "inspired" by a god, then god's not that great a writer.
