No. Touching does not transmit HIV, absent a cut or wound.

Okay-my 1st question is why someone would do that in the 1st place? Oh well-unless the container has a leak in it and the person who touches it touches it where the leak is in an area where there is broken skin, it's highly unlikely. And even in that case, it depends on the amount of time the semen has been leaking, since the HIV virus dies once outside of the body....

If the person gets touched with it has any open sores or anything . yes they can be infected..
You really need to report this person on the chance that he or she is just out to spread the hiv because they have it.. it isn't uncommon for them to have a mental problem about getting it and want to give it to as many people as they can..
they figure if they have it they are going to give it to everyone else.. report them to the health athoritys. and they can deal with it from there.

Hi there !

The answer is a strong possible "YES" !
There is a strong possibility for infection...

IF ...

1. HIV is still surviving in that..!
2. There is loss of continuity of the touching
surface..

He or She should be considered
as "infected" ..unless proved otherwise...
