If that does not work then you will have to replace the bed and still clean the room and all of the bedding and pillows or replace the pillows as well.

what you should do if you have bed bugs is wash all your sheets and bedding and begin with a integrated pest management (IPM) approach that involves multiple tactics, such as preventive measures, sanitation, and chemicals applied to targeted sites. Also ensure that you sanitize any furniture in or around the local area to include night stands, chairs, box spring, mattresses, etc etc. But to answer your question OFF will not work only a pesticide will. So be sure that you actually do have bed bugs before calling an exterminator. To inspect for bed bugs begin by dismantling the bed and standing the components on edge. Things to look for are the bugs themselves, and the light-brown, molted skins of the nymphs. Dark spots of dried bed bug excrement other wise known as s hi t or poop are often present along mattress seams or wherever the bugs have been residing. Hope this helps.

No and it is poisonous especially around kids. One way to rid just the bed of bedbugs is to turn the mattress over, it confuses them and by the time they get to the top again (which was the bottom, they have usually eaten each other-gross, I know, but I wouldn't wish these nasties on anyone). The other solution is a non-toxic spray I found on a search called Thwart. The other alternative is to use Tea Tree Oil in a mist bottle and spray before going to bed and after rising, that's what we do if we have to stay in a motel or strange place as well as at home. Bedbugs are on the rise in this country and live on carbon dioxide that we all breathe out, so it is not because you are dirty, ANYONE can have bedbugs. Scary thought. I like to use Tea Tree Oil because it is a natural parasiticide, kills fungus, bacteria, staph, strep and e-coli among other great properties. I had a very bad case of staph and was told by my naturopath to use tea tree oil when and where ever including on open wounds (depending on depth of wounds diluted with Jojoba oil) even on my pets. The dr. skin grafted both of my arms instead of amputating them so I know without a doubt that tea tree oil works. There is a company that makes 75% of all their products with tea tree oil that I use daily on my dogs, and family. We don't have the pests that usually come with farm/ranch life. Neither do we see any pests on our crops.
It is safe and natural, so a wonderful gift from nature.
Off contains DEET--a very toxic substance that should be removed from the shelves due to all the side effects.

The question the man asked is Will it repel bedbugs not will it kill them or get rid of them or anything like that obviously the guy knows it s not going to kill them he s just looking keep from getting bitten for maybe a night not one person answered him everybody just told him how difficult and how it does not kill them does anybody know if off or deet keeps them from biting you...i m sorry but I would like to know as well

I found deep woods off helped a bit.

Put your mattress in a vinyl cover. Get a thick quilt or coverlet and put it between you and the vinyl. Wash the coverlet and your blanket periodically. It'll control the bedbugs. Vacuum often and keep clutter away from the bed.

Vacuum your mattress both sides before using a repellent it works better. If you have a Dyson vacuum you can see in the clear cylinder EXACTLY what you are removing........... its freaky!!!

NO IT DOESNT TRY VACUUMING YOUR BED EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE I TRY TO AT LEAST 1 TIME A WEEK!
