sure if the cat will eat them -let it. raw eggs have protein and albumen which is very good for it,s coat and not to worry cats and dogs can digest things like raw meat and eggs and not get sick due to particular digestive enzymes so feed on .

Certainly brownes are not on any cat diet I've seen and believe me I have done much research into cat diet. I use raw meat for my cat's diet (partial) and am very careful in choosing markets that scrupulously clean their grinders, the meat is NEVER packaged, and ground every few days.

I like fresh eggs from the farmer's market because they taste better than grocery store eggs and of course I cook them for myself.

The white of the egg is not good for the cat and the yolk is a great source for Vitamin A. So when I soft-boil eggs my Kinsey gets a lightly cooked egg yolk which he likes a lot. The egg white is not poisonous and there is something that makes it not the best food source for the cat. Of course, cats will eat eggs in the wild if they happen to run across a nest of them.

The chocolate in brownies if not OK. Too much chocolate is poisonous.

Hi

Well feeding your cat a bit of raw egg now and then is ok...

But... doing it often..

Repeatedly adding raw eggs to a cat's diet can cause a deficiency of the vitamin biotin. Raw egg whites contain avidin, an enzyme which ties up biotin. Symptoms of biotin deficiency include dermatitis, loss of hair and poor growth...again this if its done a lot.

Cats and Dogs both can get Salmonella... but worse yet they can get it and carry it for long periods of time. During this time they can and do shed it in their feces and saliva and can infect you by licking you etc...

Soooooo
While the raw egg itself wont hurt you cat.... you have to decide if its worth it... you could also microwave a plain raw egg up for your kitty as a treat too... just make sure no salt or seasoning and that you make sure its cool first before you feed.

Also getting your kttiy in the habit of egg begging may not be what you want either... if you must share.. cooking the egg is best.

Good Luck!

Nothing wrong with raw eggs for cats. Good source of proteins. And as a cat has a short digestive system that is tailor made to digest raw foods there is no worry of disease from raw eggs.

Perhaps an egg and mouse omlete would be a good sunday morning treat. And please let your cats watch football - they love football.
