I think it was taken over either by JK Group, or Aditya Birla Group or Reliance. But I have no source to check thru

Sorry, but based on current investment databases I checked, there is no record of a company Orrisa Synthetic trading on any major exchange anywhere in the world.
If you know anyone still affiliated with the company, then you might call them up to ask the telephone number of the president or director of investor relations.

If you really want to know about the status of a stock, then check the Yahoo Financial section, enter the symbol of the stock and you should get what you are looking for.
I've never heard of Orrisa Synthetic... so if that's a penny stock, then you are just wasting your time looking for it or owning it.
