i am a cheif warrant officer in the israeli defence forces. How dare you say we are the new nazis and that we should be wipped out . we have put up with more then1000 years of hardship. and now that we have got a country of our own you all cry foul. well how would you like it if your homes were shot with rockets all day dont you think we have a right to fight for our family and state saftey. if lets say osama had a large enonough wepons like intercontanentail missiles and started firing off into america and you did not know were the next missile will come from would you not expect it of your government and armed forces to do everything they can to protect you and your family and the. and there is no way we randomly shoot civiliens we only will shoot millita and terrorists not women and children. If we see kids with guns we tell them put it down but we never frighten them with use of our weapons. dont you think we go through lots of training to tell

Then why many people died in Lebanon including children and women? Everyone knows that Middle East is/was in a crisis but who cares. The point is you should tell the government that he should have a meeting with middle east so as to have a better undertsanding with one another and crisis won't happen. I know the government will not listen or he just can't be bothered but why don't the whole Israelians have a protest outside his office? That would be better than people living in fear and children cannot have a better life always thinking of bombs dropping from the sky. Hope you read my answer because you need it.

I am very happy to finally be able to write to someone from Israel.Especially,a Military man.I am from the United States.I am a simple man and not a politician.
You are right to defend your land.Israel did not ask for this trouble.The trouble came to Israel.
The problem that I watched on cnn was that you were trying to fight a war without killing anybody.
My friend,a WAR cannot be fought in such a way.
If war was fought like a war is supposed to be fought,there would be less war.
But now in war,we try not to kill anyone.
If the Hezbollah cowards,new that by messing with Israel,Israel would kick there @ss right off the face of the world,they would not have messed with Israel at all.
But they new that hiding behind women and children that ya'll wouldn't do nothing.
A war is a war,if Israel woul have hit like ya'll problay wanted to,The fight would have been over in a couple of days.

I'm not sure what to think because one of my work colleagues goes to Israel once a year. As a matter a fact; He just came back about a week ago. He said his hotel was about 50 miles from the alleged war zone and he saw or heard NOTHING regarding danger at all. He also said he had a wonderful time.

So....How is this possible??

i was in palestine two years ago and saw for myself the racist discrimination of the occupation and how the illegal (International Court of Justice) apartheid wall was stealing land from the West Bank Palestinians. at the moment Israel is bombarding Gaza and killing people every day. to try to accuse people of being anti-jewish because they despise the policies of your right wing governments is a tired and pathetic attempt to tar independent opinion with a "racist/anti-semitic" tag. grow up.

They wouldn't like it. But they are in the USA safe and sound kept that way buy the government standing up and doing the right thing! I say GO ISRAEL!!! Your people deserve 1000 years of peace! It breaks my heart that you have to kill some Meany bad guys just to get one day! You are doing what has to be done and standing up for your rights as a human being. I respect that! Some people can't see past the end of their noses though can they?

I personally like israel,i have great respect for that fistee little country,and its about time the jewish people have a country of their own.But of course your going to have hateful people out there making trouble,but I asure you the israeli people can more than take care of them selves,they've already proven that a time or two.
