He won't go pee by himself. We have to go out with him. How do we get him to pee on his own. We don't want to have to go outside with him everytime.

He probably wants to get back inside and eat that cat, but other than that, it's something he will grow out of. Give him a voice command and point. Pretty soon he will be going out on his own and you'll wish he would be more like the little guy that wouldn't let you out of his sight.

This is what we did with our dogs when they were puppies: we actually went outside with them and not just standing at the door. They will usually go where are you and if you are at the door, so will they.

Walk them back to an area where you would like for them to go and do their thing.

My neighbor at point when it came time to clean up the yard would put all of their doggy piles and place them in one spot in the yard and then the dogs would actually tend to go there and not all over the yard.

good luck

When I bought Zoey, my 7 week black lab she did the same thing. I went out with her and I ran and walked her so she could get used to her surrondings and everything.
Your Black lab might just be scared because he is in this whole diffrent place and enviorment.
Walk him and get him used to your house and yard. And trust me, He'll learn quickly.
If that does not help, then mabey you just need to wait. He is only 15 weeks, but try teaching him that and it should help.
Good Luck!

At that age, you have to go out with them as your backyard is a whole new enviroment for it. After awhile you will be able to let it out on it's own but for now, you need to walk it to go potty. When you walk with it to go potty, keep telling the little pup, *Go Potty* so it knows why it is outside....I had a pup in winter and had to walk with it so if I were you, while it is still nice outside, i'd get it use to being out there now (with you) so come winter, it's trained to go out by it's self.........Good Luck

This is where owners start getting tired of the potty training. I know it getting tiresome but please don't give up now! Go outside with your pup and as soon as he does his business say "Good potty!" Get all excited! Praise him like crazy! When he knows he has pleased you, he will want to go outside just for you. If you can't read your pups body language (what he does to when he has to go potty) You have to have him tied to your wrist. You will learn when he starts to go. Pull his water 3 hours before bedtime, take him outside (go with him if you have to) Crate him and as soon as he wakes up immediately take him outside. Also if you feed him at the same time he will have a regular bowel movement. So you can be more patient outside for that to happen. Anyway good luck with the training, don't get frustrated, this will happen, you have to give it time. Don't forget to follow up with obedience training!

he will truthfully get used to her and his habit is especially regularly occurring. he's purely getting used to having yet another dogs in his territory and he's no longer particular he desires to share. And purely like people do while they get previous, they get a splash cranky. yet as long as the two the dogs be responsive to you are the %. chief and you're in fee, there should not be any fights. it may take a splash persistence and time, yet he could settle for the domestic dog as component to his relatives and grow to be linked. The trick is to proceed to be recurring and corporation. in case you start to grant the older dogs extra affection given which you sense undesirable, that's going to be encouraging the lack of self belief over the domestic dog. So purely reassure him which you're a sturdy chief and you have administration over the recent domestic dog. And as quickly as he gets used to her, it is going to help shop him youthful at coronary heart in his previous age. sturdy success with the recent addition!

He's not very old, maybe when he gets older he will learn to do things on his own. If he gets urgent enough he will probably go on his own. Just leave him be and ignore him and he will stop expecting you to go out with him.

You must go out with him and lead him to were you want him to go-stay with him at first, and then each time remove yourself a little-a few feet. Within a month he will manage on his own

Keep working with him, he is still real young and will need you to go out with him for a while longer. Don't worry he will go on his own when he is ready.
