Obviously all religions are real but how many of them are true. Of coarse parents raise their children in the religion or faith that they believe. And then there are the different denominations for different religions. For example you have the Sunnis and the Shites in the Muslim religion and they want to kill each other. Can that be a true religion? We are told that the Muslim religion is a peaceful religion but from what I have seen there is nothing peaceful about it. Christianity preaches love which makes a lot more sense to me. I cant imagine a God that would create all this and than enjoy seeing his people slaughter each other.

there are three ways to gain control in a Culture and Society. through religion, politics and the military. you can tell the type of religion by the society and also tell the type of society by the religion. when one is reared in a specific Culture and Society they grow up with the laws rules and mores of that Culture and Society. when two or more Cultures and Societies interact there are exchanges of ideas and the Culture and Societies may change their original concepts to incorporate some of the others ideas into their own. thus Cultures and Societies are in a slow but changeable state of flux or they will stagnate and die.

You know i always thought Jesus was Jewish not a Muslim !! Religion is as real as you believe it to be. Many countries have different religious groups who openly practise their religion it doesn't matter where you are brought up, its how you are brought up and what you are brought up to believe. You are neither religion until you start to believe what you are taught.

Religion is real but it is obvious it is not divinely inspired.
If God endorsed a religion, every person would be born believing that religion and would not need a book, prophet, preacher, pope, teacher, instructions or anything else.
We don't need to be told how to breathe.

But if you actually read the bible and the qu'ran you will see they are remarkably similar. Do you think maybe God told one prophet, and then He told the same thing to another prophet somewhere else, and like chinese whispers it all got confused and mixed up?
I believe there is one God, and it doesn't matter how or where you worship Him, if you love Him then you are sorted.

If you are born a muslim then you cannot change to another religion as it is punishable by death.
Religion is so backward and you must really have to question yourself if you believe in this total bullshit

I think it's funny how Christains get all pissed off, when you tell them that:
Muslims, Jews & Christains share the same god.

Religion is merely the way you choose to worship God. If your religion gets in the way of that, get a different one.
