British Pharmacopoeia
It is the authoritative collection of standards for medicines in the UK. The standards are legally enforceable in the UK and in most of the Commonwealth. British Pharmacopoeia also contains monographs from the European Pharmacopoeia.

British Pharmacopoeia. This is essentially just a huge list of all the medicines and compounds available in the UK. It was the idea of the General medical Council in 1850 ish to ensure standard doses & dilutions were followed across the UK & Ireland.

Other countries hae their own - i.e. USP - United States Pharmacopoeia.
