I would suggest going to the Better Homes & Garden website. There are some little quiz-type things that can help you determine your decorating style. Of course, the other biggie is your budget. Maybe you could look through some magazines, like Better Homes and Gardens, House Beautiful, etc. and try to find some rooms that you like. Based on that, you can go forward with some sort of design plan.

This is such a broad questions that it's hard to answer, but I would say that it sounds like you have no ideas right now. That means you need to start at the beginning, by looking thru magaizines, furniture stores and friend's homes. See what appeals to you. Start with one piece that you adore and work from there. Don't buy everything to match, because that shows no personality. Take your time and do one room at a time, starting with the rooms you use most: kitchen, bedroom, family room. Good luck.

decorating our home is a hard job but we like it because of the various ideas we have got.you can get a wallpaper of your favourite sport or favourite cartoon on t.v.you can even make the fans of the colour of ur wallpaper.you can arrange all your toys in such a way that every field of toys are together like................if its motorbikes then they will be at one place and if its video games then they will be at one place.you can even put the wallpaper of someone u idolize in a sport or other like bekham in football etc.

you don't say what age you are or what your tastes are .i make all my curtains and cushion covers and mats .layby bed linen add some flowers in vases you get from the thrift store. paint the walls a pretty colour .paint covers a multitude of dirt.and age. start at the front door and work your way to the back of the house . matching colours as you go

well the best suggestion is to look through magazines it doesnt neccesarily have to be home design magazines it can be Vogue or Essence just some place to get inspiration from then try to combine your ideas and go shopping and look for similar items
